MOLYFORM 1050

MOLYFORM 1050 is a high performance evaporative lubricant specially formulated for cold metal forming of heavy gauge materials. The product is suitable for use on a wide range of ferrous metals.

MOLYFORM 1050 incorporates advanced synthetic additives that provide excellent film strength and lubricity which prevent metal pick up between the work piece and tool thereby reducing pick-up and scoring. As a result, MOLYFORM 1050 is suitable for use on many drawing, stamping, bending, blanking and piercing operations providing a cost-effective route to improved product quality and tool life and increased productivity.

The evaporative nature and light viscosity of MOLYFORM 1050 facilitates use as a vanishing film eliminating the need, under some circumstances, to degrease components prior to secondary operations or assembly.
